I have not tried to store the silverware tray under the bottom rack because I do use it periodically. I just went and looked but there is no place to slide in the tray anywhere other than the top. Sorry!

A:Answerhello- according to the sticker placed on the outside of the dishwasher it is. HOWEVER, when we purchased it we were told they had it in stock at the warehouse then we were told due to Covid the whirlpool warehouse had shut down production but this particular dishwasher is actually designed over seas and will be shipped as promptly as they can nearly 3 months later i received the dishwasher it's a nice dishwasher we aren't disappointed with it. I will say the buttons being on the top edge it is very sensitive and is very easy to accidently hit when you go to close the door or you will have started it.
