Is there a plastic film on the trim piece above the handle? If so, how did you remove it? null

I had a tech come to look at this piece and they confirmed the piece did not have a film on it; however all of these accent pieces have scuffs according to the tech. Seems like an odd way to accent an otherwise very elegant looking dishwasher. (The tech brought out a replacement trim piece to show me it was the same as the one that originally came on the dishwasher.)

Ours didn’t have a plastic film over the trim panel. Perhaps it did when installed but they may have removed it then

Yes, there is a protective plastic film. I removed mine by rubbing from the bottom edge up until an edge of the plastic came up. I grabbed the edge and gently pulled up towards each side to remove it.
