• It's a wood laminate. Nice, but in my opinion, do not used as a cutting board.

• It is like a butcherblock top only it has a smooth laminate coating - very nice. Same top was on my old dishwasher and it was just fine.

• Not wood. It has like a formic top. I took the top off our old unit and refinished it. Looks and fits great
