“I am considering this dishwasher and wonder how long the hoses are and also how long the electrical cord is...some have really short hoses so the washer has to sit right in front of the sink for the whole cycle...inconvenient so I would like to find out”

Your right, this Whirlpool portable dishwasher does have shorter cords than the old one, and does have to sit in front of the sink the whole time, however it does have a little plastic dispenser in the back of the attachment that you can get drinking water out of while it is running. Hose length 30". Electrical cord a little over 60".
