Other than some slight noise at the very beginning of the cycle, this model is nearly silent while in operation, provided it is installed correctly. Make sure that the washer top, back, and sides are spaced apart from the cabinet surfaces and the included insulation batting is properly in place.

Please try again later.We have a cathedral ceiling over our kitchen, livingroom and dining room with a small wall between the livingroom and kitchen and a larger wall between the dining room and kitchen. Noise is very minimal. Much quieter than the 25 year old dishwasher we had.
