No, there are a lot of smudges but following manual on cleaning does the job. Not smooth, kinda textured looking.

The sides are smudge proof, but the front is not. However I have tried using Simple Green on the front and it removes the smudges easily.

It is not completely smudge proof but easily cleaned with the right cleaner & soft cloth.

Hi, Jeff. The stainless steel is not smudge proof, but can be wiped off with stainless steel cleaner pretty easily. I hope this helps you. Thanks, Melanie

No, I have several smudges on my fridge from my kids. But they do clean off if you buy some stainless steel cleaner.
