As far as I can tell no because I would be wiping it down for sure daily, and thankfully that has not been the case with this refrigerator. (Smile)...

Seems to be VERY fingerprint resistant. Not to say its impossible to smudge, but I can run clean fingers all over it and it wont leave a mark.
