Our kids are always getting ice n water out of the dispenser all day long. Haven't had any issues yet.

Ice production for a 24 hr period is going to vary depending on ambient temperature, water temperature, the inside temperature of the unit along with if the ice bucket is full or not. If the bucket is full the ice maker will not make ice. Harvest cycle takes 2-3 hours, 8 cubes per cycle, during a 24 hour period could produce between 64 and 96 cubes.
