Hello Ace, I had the same mindset. I needed a butter shelf! After lot's of Googling, I found one. Google W10324760. It's made by Whirlpool but Whirlpool doesn't sell it. Google will give you 3 OEM parts suppliers. We bought one from PartsDR. It fits perfectly about 1/4 of the way down inside the refrigerator door. Hope that helps

Someone must make a butter tray or at least have it as an option. Who wants to take out a bunch of beer cans just to get to a smashed stick of butter? Then put all the cans back in....
