• BobK, you would need to leave a 2" (5.08 cm) minimum space on each side to allow the doors to swing open. We hope this helps!

• The door swings flush with the refrigerator, so you really don't need any extra space. I have about an inch of space on the right and less than that on the left and have no problems.
