“My washer stays in the final spin setting for a awful long time. I end up turning it to drain/spin myself. Does anyone know why this would be happening?”

Do you have hard water? If so, it could have affected your control board functionality. I had a whirlpool repair guy out for the same reason and he fixed it rather quickly. He recommended a water filter.
