Its pretty much in charge ....the only choice your have is Auto Sensing & Deep Water Wash /Rinse. Deep water will use more, but its not like the water level you're probably used to with the classic machines. If you do add water with a bucket or something, only do this for the "Wash" cycle & keep the level about 1" below the top row of holes on the basket.... anything more & she'll stop & pump out a good 3" to the water level. If your try to mess with the level at the rinse cycle, it gets pretty confused & will start to calibrate its self by adding & then dumping water trying to figure out why the numbers are off. Forget everything you know about how washers operate these machines are different in every way.
