Hello Ladybenz! These models are low water washers and will only use a little water. They will sense the clothes and determine the correct amount of water to use. Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.

Please try again later.I put the laundry in the washer, then I select what cycle I want and put the washer on, put the soap in the soap dispenser, and then put fabric softner in where it goes, close the lid and let the washer do its thing. In other words, I left it fill up and go directly into the washer cycle automatically.
