• Yes. The top part is adjustable and made of a thin metal. I used tin snips to trim the corners of mine to get it to fit tighter to the ceiling.

• When you install the hood you can adjust the heights, but more importantly, the hood vent can exit your kitchen via the roof or a wall. It’s whatever you prefer.
