Please try again later.You can drop a 6" inch type A vent pipe through your ceiling close to the wall and centered above your cook-top connected to a vent jack on your roof. You can also vent through the wall behind your cook-top, if it is an exterior wall. Or you can set this hood up to recirculate(not recommended) which means venting to the outside is not necessary. Side note* Make sure the power line to run the hood comes through the wall behind the cook-top at least 36" above the cooking surface.
