Q: Question5i have a question about the range hood can this be installed over an island as to where there is no wall behind the hood leaving the back exposed , will the back be finished stainless steel and look like the front

• A:Answer Hi Lmjt, This canopy hood is factory set for venting through the roof or wall. If it is not possible to vent cooking fumes and vapors to the outside, the hood can be used in the non-vented (recirculating) version, fitting a charcoal filter and the deflector. Fumes and vapors are recycled through the top grille.
