Thank you for your inquiry about our Whirlpool® appliances. The lights in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments use LED technology. If the lights do not illuminate when the door or drawer is opened, call for assistance or service. We would recommend contacting Whirlpool® at 800-253-1301. We are available M -F 8 am to 6 pm EST. They will be better able to assist you. If you your product is under and extended warranty with the dealer, please reach out to them for further assistance.
