One of the problems with this machine is that you can't just open it and see what the water level is since it locks right away. I don't know if it is actually using the correct of water. I will say that although the clothes are clean enough (not that we get our clothes that dirty in the first place), they do get very twisted and tangled. I don't think that is good for the clothes.
