• Both powder and liquid can be used. The liquid container can be filled for 8 or more loads, depending on your soil settig levels.

• Hi Natalie. To answer your question, yes. You can use either powder or liquid detergent with this Whirlpool® Washer as long as the detergent is marked as High Efficiency. For more information, refer to page 12 of your Use & Care Guide. We hope this helps!
