Hello, any changes outside of the regular Quick Wash cycle settings will increase the cycle time. Such as: Soil Level (wash time) is preset for each wash cycle. When you change the soil setting, the cycle time will increase or decrease in the Estimated Cycle Time display. We hope this helps. Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.
