“At 350 degrees, how hot does the outside oven door get?”

The outside gets HOT! Whirlpool designed this range to meet the maximum allowable surface temperature of 152 degrees. So if you call a technician to test the temp and it is less then 152 degrees, Whirlpool will say sorry, the range is "operating as designed". I found out our test was done incorrectly, and their result was 140 degrees. They said, you guessed it, "operating as designed". When tested correctly by a certified electrician the surface temperature was 155 degrees! Whirlpool will do nothing to resolve this issue. Ask me how I know... Why doesn't Whirlpool warn consumers that this range will get HOT! Deceptive practice. Not good.
