“I’m really worried about switching from an old electric stove to the ceramic top. Is it easy to scratch or break? If you don’t have the right size pan does it just not heat up? I still have time to cancel my order and my old stove works just fine.”

You will love it! I just switched to a Whirlpool convection. I had a smooth top before. It is easy to clean with smooth top cleaner. I don't use my cast iron skillet on it as it may scratch. Mine has 2 size rings in one. The dial turns both ways, one for smaller and one for large size pan.
