“Is the oven light suppose to come on when the door is opened because ours does not? The light comes on when we push it on the control panel but not when opening the door.”

Hi, the "LIGHT" button used to turn the cavity light "on" and "off".Opening and closing the door will not have turn on or off the cavity light.Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.
