“Has anyone had a problem with the edge to edge grate doing damage to a quartz counter ? Other things I have heard is pans rock because the grates get warped after use. And lastly, has anyone had a problem with the knobs getting turned on accidentally?”

We have had this stove for less than two years and the grates are badly warped where it big burners are. The grate is also the front surface of the stove so you can easily bump it and get burned. The grates are expensive to replace ($250+) so we’ll buy a new stove rather than replacing :(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The grates on our range do not have rubber feet so I would not place them on my counters (of any kind) without something under them. An old towel will do. I, too, cannot see the grates warping. Also, I was happily surprised to see these grates are easier to set pots on than the ones that are more open. I can actually imagine the knobs turning on by accident, but that may be true for lots of ranges.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No issues with the grates as they have rubber bottom feet so if you place them on a counter top there should be no damage. The pans do not rock on mine, I'm not sure how long they would take to warp however I'm guessing that would be part of the warranty. Again I have no issues with warped grates. To be honest I would think that would be a concern with any gas cook top, I've never run across that issue. The knobs have a great feel to them and I can't see them accidentally turning on if bumped.
