Q: QuestionHow can i disable the control buttons while using the oven so i dont turn the oven off while its being used?

• A:Answer Hello Joemike, under the Tools is the Control Lock Feature. The control lock locks the control panel keypads to avoid unintended use of the oven(s). If set before the power failure occurs, the CONTROL LOCK keypad will remain set after a power failure. The control lock is preset unlocked, but can be locked. To Lock or Unlock the Control: 1. Check that the oven is off. 2. Select the CONTROL LOCK keypad. 3. “CONTROL LOCK” will display. 4. Scroll up to unlock. No keypads will function with the controls locked. The cooktop functions are not affected by the oven control lockout.

Q: QuestionImy question refers to the fan coming on when you don’t need it? Just wondering if you would know-when the convection fan comes on, would it dry the cheesecake out and make it crack?

Q: QuestionI read that a convection oven can work as an air fryer, if you have the correct pans such as special wire cooking trays, etc. This is a convection oven, which forces air around inside the oven, therefore you should be able to use it as an air fryer?

• A:Answer Hi LearningToCookWithWhirlpool, an "Air Fryer" is both hotter and has a more powerful fan than just convection bake alone. While convection does cook quicker and more evenly, an air fryer will produce a crispier result due to the higher heat and larger fan so the results will not quite be the same. Q: QuestionRange is 1 month old. During the cooking cycle in oven, the gas seems to stop for a millisecond followed by the “whoosh” of it reigniting. This anomaly (is) is very rhythmic and occurs almost every 2.5 minutes. I’m assuming this is not normal?
