QuestionNumber of bottles this model will hold?Hello, I’m considering purchasing one of your Whirlpool 51 bottle capacity wine coolers for my collection of high end California Cabs and Zinfandels. Since most of my bottles are the oversize, extra long-extra wide bottles like Venge, Macauley, Storybook Mountain, Seghesio and others are using these days, my question is: exactly how many of these monsters will your 51 bottle wine cooler hold? - Answer I haven’t tried a champagne bottle yet but this unit accepts a variety of sizes from Bordeaux to burgundy to Chardonnay with little difficulty at all.

QuestionThe description says the shelf are "fixed." Does that mean that they are not removable? What if I want to store something other than wine in part of the cooler and want to remove a shelf.

- Answer It’s quiet, more so than my previous Summit bar unit, especially in cycle mode, and quieter than my three year old KitchenAid full size frig. We use in the FR and noise was my only concern at purchase—no qualms at all after two months. Matches the nearby KA appliances very well. Only nit: I’d like the attractive blue lighting to stay on full time but that’s not available.

QuestionWhat is the actual depth of this fridge? I am seeing 21.625 inches but then it notes a "cut out depth" of 24 7/8. I cant find anything in the manual that accounts for the additional 3 inches. We only have about 22 inches to work with.

- Answer Hello, this model will not fit 22 inches. The dimensions for this model are 24 7/8 (D) without the handle, min. 35 1/4 max.35 13/16 (H), 24 5/8 (W). For air flow you will need an 1 3/16 inches clearance between the appliance and the wall. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you.
