“I bought this to go in a new kitchen remodel. I had to buy it before the remodel started so the contractor would know the width dimensions. It just became time to slide the range in and it sticks out from the cabinets by about 1-2"'. Makes no sense?”

I did the same thing.....remodeling, purchased all new appliances, installed, and the stove sticks out a little. I believe this is just how it is made as my cabinets are standard size (I assume yours are, as well). I had not noticed it until I read your note. Let them finish your kitchen and I don't think you will have a problem with it. In 50+ years of moving, redecorating/remodeling, etc., I have never found an appliance that fits perfectly in/around standard sized cabinets. It's obvious that appliances makers and cabinet makers are not in sync!! Good luck with your remodel and your new appliances!
