Hello! Convection cooking utilizes a heating element and fan to evenly distribute heated air throughout the oven cavity. By circulating the heated air, no hot or cold spots occur, creating a consistent temperature envelope around the food. These consistent temperatures cook food evenly and reduce cooking time. The variable temperature feature lets you set the oven temperature up to 450 degrees F. Micro Convect and Combination cooking uses microwave energy and convection cooking to shorten cooking time while allowing baked goods to be browned more evenly and leaves meats juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
