Hi Depth. In the installation instructions for this Dryer, the dimensions are measured including the silver protrusion/cover on the back on the machine. This dryer's depth measures 28 1/4 inches. We hope this helps.

It’s from the front of the dryer to the complete back, behind the silver control panel
