• Use the white plastic tool (included with new filter) to remove old filter. Attach and turn counter clock wise. Filter will come out easily. Put new filter in with tool, just clockwise turn.

• KitchenAid is manufactured by Whirlpool From the official KitchenAid User Guide, the water filter is Part Number F2WC911 or ICE2

• There is no such thing as a KitchenAid F2WC911 ice maker. F2WC911 is the model number for the ICE2 water filter.
