• No. This requires clumping litter. FYI, I use Boxiecat lightweight clumping; has most of the characteristics of Pretty Litter (other than the color change), and also is better at odor avoidance.

• No, you need clumping litter for the Litter Robot to work properly. The litter clumps and the robot sifts out the clumps and drop them into a bin -- that's the magic! And it's magical! I use World's Best Cat Litter, but you can use most any clumping litter. Tidy Cats even makes a formula specific for the Robot.
