Yes it includes a window installation kit for vertical or horizontal openings up to 36 inches. It's about 5 inches wide. If you need to install in a sliding glass door you need to extend it with custom parts or purchasing a separate kit. The window kit will not fit casement/crank-style windows. Also, note that some people have had problems with maintaining a proper seal on the hose connections. My recommendation is to get creative with duct tape on all areas where you may experience air leakage.
