The other answer isn't accurate. The maximum daily output (if you remove ice before the basket is full for a day) should be around 49 pounds. I estimate the basket probably holds a little over 2 pounds. The basket is probably about 2.5 times the volume of the 26 lb models. The ice cubes are quite a bit larger than the 26 lb model puts out so it takes fewer to fill a glass. I find the 26 pound model only stores enough for 2 glasses - this one can fill about 4 or 5 comparable glasses with a basket full. I had to run the 26 lb model all day long to keep up due to the basket size, but I can run this one a couple of hours before lunch and the larger cubes last long enough for me use for the remainder of the day.
