• The unit is completely silent. I ran it on Turbo the first day to clear the air. I have cats and severe allergies and after the first day it ran on automatic. The unit automatically turns itself up when needed, like furnace or air coming on or blowing dust. Unless it is on turbo all the time you cannot hear it. Even then it is a quiet fan. Less noisy then the furnace e or air conditioner when they are running. Am completely happy with unit .
