“I purchased blink security cameras in my house and had installed by geek squad..do have to pay a monthly fee for monitoring.. received an email from blink..if I don't purchase this does it mean cameras want monitor anymore”

With blink you can still view the cameras but it won’t send you motion detection notifications unless you pay monthly
