• A:Answer Best Buy does nothing to prevent bots from taking every pre order available within minutes of the product going live. Try to make friends with a local game store, don't count on Best Buy for a fair chance at anything collectable.

Q: QuestionWhy do you continue to allow bots to buy all of the inventory? If you actually allowed people to buy things maybe you would have customers 🤷‍♂️

• A:Answer Unfortunately theres no way for a store to 100% prevent bots from buying their whole stock even the smartest of algorithms still are only at a 70% success rate as is unfortunately the life of any retail place its part of the reason why best buy limits the amount someone is able to preorder to one per person and they check ID to verify that your id matches your account so that people cant bulk buy their whole inventory

Q: QuestionWhen will pre-order be available?

• A:Answer I waoted on the "hold on while we check inventory" screen for 10 minutes, trying tonorder this 5 minutes after it dropped. Guess what was sold out durong that load time? Previous answer was correct. Althoigh Micro Centers usually also have a semi decent deal on these products and are in store too, so you can choose your own box. I was just hoping to save about $20 or so bucks.
