• A:Answer As an owner of this product, the answer is NO. The robot is designed to brush the walls and bottom of one’s pool, however its internal basket will not catch and retain algae particles. The basket will catch and retain items such as leaves, and smaller debris.

• A:Answer As an owner of this product, I would definitely say yes. I would highly recommend that your thoroughly wash and rinse off the unit once it has completed its cleaning routine.
