Though I have no idea why Wyze posted the response they did, I did contact their customer service hotline, and they confirmed that this does Floodlight Home Security Camera does in fact require an electrician to install. While Best Buy's website shows installation is available (and as a Total Tech Member, it says installation is included as part of my membership), this is likely not the case. I doubt many Geek Squad associates are also licensed electricians. I recommend triple verifying before purchasing this product.

Best Buy will work with local licensed electricians to get these installs, but this service is not available in every market. It is recommended that you speak with your local Best Buy store to make sure that there is a local installer in your area.
