• You can download the app and watch the camera on your phone. If you want to save video recordings you need an SD card or else subscribe to WYZE service

• You just need the app to live view the camera. You can get 12sec clips uploaded to the cloud for free or buy a micro sd card and have it record locally. If you want more advanced recording you will have to get a subscription plan.
