Yes the Xbox x has a rom drive. The Xbox s does not.

This console lets you play digital and physical games. The Series X will let you play Xbox One, Xbox 360, and original Xbox games if you have the disks or decide to purchase them through the online Xbox store.

No series x galaxy addition is disc and digital. The all white version of it strictly digital.
