Due to my requirements - Xeon processor, 128gig ram, 2tb M.2 ssd, 8 tb hdd I use an 850 watt power supply this is almost twice the recommended power needed. This card does not require a secondary power cable thus it takes all power from the bus. see the last 2 items in the specification list.
