• I made the exact upgrade and it definitely improved the performance in PUBG, Battlefield V, and Battlefront 2. The 8gb of RAM on the card makes a huge difference as well as the easy overlclocking of the card.

• It depends on what resolution you are running at. The 1060 is a good card but the 3gb of ram limits that version. I'd say it would be a great upgrade. Especially if paired with a freesync monitor.
