I don't have this specific card, but have the XFX 7800XT, and the logo is a static white LED backlight. It is not addressable and can not turn it off without pulling the shroud and physically unplugging the LED. I suspect this card will be the same. I initially want sure if I'd like it, but it's grown on me. Of course that's just my subjective opinion.
