this mobo is from 2012. this card is from 2018. you would be better off with a new mobo either with amd or intel chipset. you can get a new mobo for about $70. I use this card on a new gigabite mobo. the card is a bit old but has 2020 drivers.

Yes, your mobo is a little dated - but you're not buying some top of the line $1200 graphics card, here. A z77 with a good cpu of that era will be perfectly on par with a more budget friendly card like this - ivy bridge held the test of time well. Expect fair quality results on 1080p at medium-high. Probably don't push ultra, and turn down more settings on newer titles, and neither card nor mobo should be wasting the other's available performance.
