Mine came with the lock, but I do not recommend it. Some days it works, then it'll go several days with auto locking or auto unlocking.

YES! Each Yale / August Lock includes August Connect. I bought 3) and used all 3 for best coverage. Highly recommend!!

Mine did :) It came with a little white box you plug in and connect to WiFi so you can connect the lock to Alexa devices or lock/unlock from your phone.

Yes it does come with an August connect. Our Apple Home Kit manages it all (lights, door and furnace) very well.
