• Hello! Thanks for your question. The Yale Assure deadbolt can withstand direct sunlight as well as temperatures ranging from -32 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

• I have a Low E storm door, with direct east facing front door. Hasn’t affected the performance yet.
