Yes, it does have a manual knob on the inside that opens and closes the deadbolt. Not sure if I understand correctly, but it sounds like you want to use this on a security screen door? I think the approach and philosophy might come into play here. They do make keyed deadbolts on both sides but I don't think it would matter with the screen door. If the screen could be cut to allow someone to reach in and turn the deadbolt, then if it was keyed on both sides they could easily just cut a larger slit and enter through that, leaving the deadbolt attached. I think this product is meant for a regular door, to be honest. Screens offer no real protection so putting a deadbolt on it doesn't seem like a good fit. This has been a great product though and we really like it. But the short answer is yes, it has a manual turn knob on the inside.
