You cannot have a 5.1 setup and do a zone B at the same time. Zone B uses the surround channel amp. So if you want a Zone B, your main Zone A will be Front, Center, and Sub setup (3.1) only. Same is true if you use the surround channel amp for bi-amping your front speakers. You need a 7.1 channel receiver in order to have a 5.1 setup in the main room and using the 'back surround' amp for your second zone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this model only has 5 speaker output connections. If you wish to have 2 zones the most you could have is 3.1 in one zone and 2.0 in the other zone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Zone 2 output (like with my previous Yahama AV receiver) is RCA, so the intention is you would run that to another amp that would power the other speakers and presumable have separate volume control.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree with the answers provided, that you can't have 5.1 in zone A and stereo in zone B. I confirmed this in the online manual. Please note that this is NOT what it says in the product overview. In the overview is states that you can run stereo in zone B while having 5.1 in zone A. Please correct the statement in the overview.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe this is referring to wireless speakers. For more information look at www.yamaha.com/musiccast/ . This is an app and once the app is installed on your mobile device there should be set up instructions. Maybe check usa.yamaha.com/support for product information .
