Question1. If there is a power outage, when power is restored, does it return in power OFF mode (so you would have to use remote or manual power on to play)? 2. Does it have "resume" - continue where it left off when powered off?

- Answer The unit plugs into an ac outlet. It comes with a remote that requires batteries that are included. I believe they are 2 AAA batteries. You can use the remote to play tracks or the buttons on the unit itself. Enjoy!
