I guess I don't understand your statement about loud. I rather doubt it. Yes, I suppose you could turn it up as high as it will go but remember this does not come with a bass sub-woofer. It is in addition to the system. You could take down some of the high tones with the sub perhaps. This is more a system to use in a small area like a bedroom or office although I use it in my living room. I don't turn it up enough to wake the neighborhood.
